“United we stand” inspires both collaborative spirit and my UCSB-laboratory’s research direction in the study of culture and diversity. United, in this context, means learning to listen to everyone.
In 2020, my students compile a catalog of midcentury Californian architecture, to be published at a later point.
In spring 2019 and 2020, my art and adaptive reuse class traveled to write about street art in Venice Beach.
