peacock motive

Two months between two projects, a famous Swiss architect had me solve her problem of uniting idea and physical space. She wanted to put the county emblem onto the facade of a community building to make it recognizable as such, alas, obstructions in front of windows are forbidden in Switzerland. I united sickle and spade into a continuous peacock pattern that could be presented in an abstract form in front of the windows that, if oval shaped, would harmonize. The building has now hundred identical windows and is covered throughout in bronze. My company received later commissions for urban design from this architect.
